Jamee’s connection to dementia care is deeply personal. She helped care for her grandfather following a stroke, which led to the development of early-onset dementia. This experience gave Jamee first-hand insight into the impact dementia can have on both the individual and the people who love and care for them.
Today, Jamee combines this lived experience with extensive professional expertise to provide compassionate, person-centred support.
Jamee believes that people should be supported to live life to their full potential, regardless of their age, diagnosis or disability.

Vanessa Auditore
Co-Founder | Coach, Therapist & Carer
Vanessa Auditore holds a degree in psychology and is a qualified therapist, counsellor and transformational coach with more than 25 years’ experience across coaching, People & Culture, leadership and personal development.
But Heart & Home grew from something even more personal: Vanessa’s own experience as a daughter and primary carer supporting her mother, Jan, who lives with dementia.
Navigating the realities of dementia care opened Vanessa’s eyes to how difficult it can be for families to find the right people, the right support and genuine continuity of care. It also showed her the profound difference that a trusted, compassionate person can make in someone’s home.
Together with Jamee, Vanessa co-founded Heart & Home to create the kind of care they believe families should be able to access: personal, respectful, consistent and genuinely human.
Support for the carer, too
